The muni bus transportation system is essentially important for disadvantaged communities in San Francisco including Visitacion Valley and Portola neighborhoods. The muni buses serving these communities can be full and unsafe for passengers, and SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) approved a project for improvement services. The improvement project includes adding elements for faster services, and safe for passengers along San Bruno Avenue approaching Silliman Avenue. Including ways to resolve traffic congestion areas along Alemany and Silver Avenue as well as accessible parking for local neighborhood cars. The SFMTA Board of Directors approved $4.1 million for the project, and planning will begin sometime during this Fall season throughout the Spring of 2017.
"I'm excited about the improvement project for pedestrian safety and especially seniors within our community," said Chris Waffling, Chairperson, Portola Neighborhood Association. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
