Transit plan supported in Seattle, San Francisco but fails in Detroit and Virginia Beach

According to a report by the local media, Sound Transit’s plan of investing $54 billion over light-rail has been approved by the voters in Puget Sound, Wash.

‘The Seattle Times’ reports an approval of 54 percent residents of three countries. Two out of three countries agreed to the plan but 56 % of the third country stands against the Sound Transit.

Sound Transit has increased the local taxes of funding for numerous transportation projects.

Sound Transit Measurement is one of those 48 public transit proposals for which U.S. people have voted on Tuesday. And the failed measures are reported as 33 transits including $3.5 billion bond for rebuilding Bay Area Transit in San Francisco.

The BART confirmed the emergency of replacing the 44-year-old worm rail, tunnels, train control equipment, and Leaking tunnels.

The people of Los Angeles County have approved a $120 billion tax to improvise the transportation in the city.
