The Google administration is rolling out their self-driving cars named Waymo deriving from the company mission. The name alignment is about Google's mission on finding a way of moving forward with mobility, and Waymo project will operate independently under an Alphabet umbrella. Google has been working with autonomous vehicles during the last eight years and housed under the "X" division. Google self-driving vehicles have been driven on public roads for more than 2 million miles within four different national states.
