Ever since the victory of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, the city San Francisco has been experience various ups and downs. Now the current information suggests that the SF, Oakland, and Bay Area are all set to make a series of protests against Trump on the roads and streets of the city.
Here are the scheduled programs of the list-
Friday
The protest march will start from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday near Golden Gate Bridge. People have chosen the purple color to protest. About parking the organizers said “Parking at the Bridge is extremely limited. Please do not expect to drive to and park anywhere near the bridge on January 20th. There will be no special permitted parking for the attendees. We are encouraging all of our attendees to use public transportation and ride sharing services.”
Civic Center
It will host the biggest march of people in San Francisco City Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be dense traffic so be careful and we suggest you to take BART or Muni for the travel.
Bang the Pots, Raise a Din, anywhere
As per a Facebook post by BTPRAD, “This event is to keep up with the Latin American tradition, Cacerolazo, of registering protest against the government by banging pots and pans.”
Saturday
Women's March Bay Area
This will be women’s day to protest in SF. Women will be protesting on the streets of the city. The event will start from afternoon at rally center whereas Oakland participants will start the march from Madison Park to other parts of the area.
