The Bluegogo International Inc. is planning to have their bicycles available in San Francisco for people to rent and use as necessary. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) and SFPW (San Francisco Public Works) departments sent a warning letter to Bluegogo's CEO (Chief Executive Officer) sharing some procedural concerns. The Bluegogo CEO, Gang Li received the letter from therein city agencies regarding operational information. Including how bicycles will be stored in public, operational permits, etc. to have Bluegogo bicycles legally operate in San Francisco. Part of city agencies concern is having Bluegogo bicycles dumped on city streets and impacting the public right of way for people. The Bluegogo Vice-President of U.S. Operations, Ilya Movshovich shared clarifying information during a press conference about the bicycle launching model approach.
