UNSPENT MUNI FUNDING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The local residents in San Francisco approved $500 million for muni improvement projects and Board of Supervisors sharing their concerns. The local voters ratified therein bond funding to help SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) with projects to improve traffic problems. Some members of San Francisco Board of Supervisors shared their concerns about not spending appropriated funding for local improvement projects fast enough. Because local San Francisco voters approved the bond funding to help with traffic congestion in San Francisco and the Bay Area. The SFMTA administration only spent $12 million and mentioned the lack of spending is because of local project changes from local communities.
