The transportation government agencies are hosting community forums to hear exactly from local communities regarding interstate highways in the Bay Area. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and TRB (Transportation Research Board) is planning to have the first community forum in San Francisco, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 9 AM to 5 PM at Bay Area Metro Center location. The second meeting is scheduled on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 9 AM to 12 Noon at the same location, 375 Beale Street, San Francisco, California. It's a research study approach regarding the future of Interstate Highway Systems and reaching out for local community feedback. The study outcomes will provide recommendations of support and/or changes regarding the Interstate Highway Systems for next 50 years nationwide.
