SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - STATE SENATORS CHALLENGING TRANSPORTATION LEGISLATION

The California State Senators are proposing a legislation to fix damaged roads and highways within California. Because infrastructure funding is needed for roadway and highway repairs, Senator Jim Beall (D-San Jose) introduced a state legislation to hopefully get support for transportation funding. The legislative bill is asking for $6 billion a year from vehicle registration fees increase and gas tax. The local and state representatives are requesting support because of opposition from other state legislators, and uncertainty about infrastructure federal funding allocation. The legislative bill is going through a procedural process and some people are saying "it's always about raising taxes in California, and we have highest taxes in the nation."

"It's really about our budget priorities and not a funding issue, because of diverting funds to non-transportation projects," said Jeff Stone, State Senator, 28th District (R-Riverside County). #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
