The local transit officials are considering on extending carpool lanes operational hours to help ease traffic congestion in the Bay Area. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) Deputy Director of Operations, Andrew Fremier, presented Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District board with a proposal to extend hours for carpool lanes. The proposal is to extend carpool lanes operational hours in Marin County and Golden Gate Bridge based on the driver survey outcome. The survey results to 61% of drivers saying they would use high occupancy lanes if it was faster, and 45% would use public express transit for services. The research survey shows people may consider using public transit and/or using carpool lanes for high occupancy vehicles.
"The transit buses get stuck in same traffic like everyone else on the road, and increasing carpool lane hours may help," said Priya David-Clemens, Golden Gate Bridge District Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
