VTA EXPRESS LANE PROGRAM REPORT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) Express Lanes Program is making progressive relief for traffic congestion in Silicon Valley. The VTA Express Lanes Program has been operating since March 2012, and more express lanes will be implemented within Santa Clara County. The five year program has been showing success for drivers time savings at 30% along highway State Route 237 (SR237) between North First Street in San Jose and Highway 880. The drivers without passengers can use express lanes and pay a fee while other carpool vehicular drivers can use it for free. The current average of approximately 10,000 drivers a week pay an average of $2.80 to save traveling time from their trip. The VTA Express Lanes have served over 2.7 million customers taking advantage of traveling options to avoid traffic congestion.

"The existing Express Lanes Program continues to achieve its goal and providing more reliable commuting time," said Murali Ramanujam, VTA Express Lanes Manager. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
