The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) muni improvement project along Van Ness Avenue started yesterday. The project construction forecast will be from Sunday, April 9, 2017 to Friday, April 21, 2017 and scheduling is subject to change because of bad forecasting weather conditions. The construction crews will start removing the Overhead Contact System powering the muni buses from Market to Sutter streets. The local travelers within therein construction areas are advised to take alternative routes to avoid traffic problems. Including construction work in the median from Ellis to Post and Washington to Post streets on Monday, April 10, 2017.
