222 DISTRACTED DRIVING TICKETS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The police officers issued 222 citations for distracted driving in the City of South San Francisco and many creating unsafe driving behaviors. The number of distracted driving citations were issued during last month of April and aligned with Distracted Driving Awareness month. It's a monthly effort to focus on unsafe traffic moving violations on highways and roadways to prevent car accidents. The driving adults are prohibited from driving while holding a cellphone in his/her hand and able to use hands-free devices for safe driving. The drivers age 18 years and less should not use a cellphone while driving at any time and it's strongly prohibited. The 2016 study research shows 44% of California drivers texting while driving and sharing serious dangers and distraction for drivers.
