The Southwest Airlines is testing a process for passengers as they exit the airplane thereafter landing at airports in San Francisco Bay Area. The Southwest Airlines is launching therein testing process for two weeks period at SJC (Mineta San Jose International Airport) and SMF (Sacramento International Airport). The deplaning procedural project will use dual-doors for passengers to exit the airplane upon airport arrivals. The attempt is to reduce deplaning time and passenger exiting congestion problems upon arrivals, and improving performance time along with greater passenger's experience. The airlines administrators are working closely with airport staffing for awareness and available dual-doors for passengers to exit the airplane. The dual-door exit process started on June 1 and will last through a two week testing period.
