A member of San Francisco Board of Supervisors want to charge Uber and/or Lyft ride-sharing companies a fee when picking up passengers. The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) administration makes Uber and Lyft pay $3.80 for each passenger ride at the airport. Therein costing amount is passed on to passengers to pay and SFO generates approximately $2 million a month as additional airport revenues. The approach is having control on local traffic congestion issues for The City with some resolutions, and charging ride-sharing companies will help resolve local traffic issues. The eventual flat fee rates may help defray some city transportation costing amounts for local traffic infrastructure and benefiting many people.
"The ride-sharing companies have not helped with city traffic congestion problems, and sharing some of the costs they created would be helpful," said Jane Kim, District-6 Supervisor, San Francisco Board of Supervisors. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
