APPROVAL OF NEW SFMTA BUSES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The new SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) trolley buses have been approved by San Francisco Board of Supervisors. The purchase of 185 new trolley buses for SFMTA is approved and ready to roll-out therein buses for transit improvement in San Francisco. The new 40 foot buses will replace old buses of more than 17 years and making transit systems better for passengers. The new trolley buses will help improve transit accountability and making up 40% improvement for time to pickup passengers. The new trolley buses will work better on hills with more energy efficient and saving our natural environment. The new electric trolley buses are more smooth riding and less maintenance for longer transit services.
