ROAD TRIAL PROJECT WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area continues to get worse and hopeful improvement projects, on Willow Road and Middlefield Road may ease traffic with safety enhancement. The "Road Diet" as called for development in Palo Alto is happening on Middlefield Road between Lytton Avenue and San Francisquito Creek with road signs for awareness. The city council approved the yearly project to reduce the four lanes roadway to two lanes with limited vehicular turns. Including speed limits enforcement by the police department for violators and see how neighbors, and local residents feel about the project outcome with traffic and pedestrian safety. The city administration will work closely with local residents regarding therein project assessment and results for determination of the project sustainability.
