SAN FRANCISCO CENTRAL SUBWAY IS DELAYED IN THE BAY AREA

The San Francisco central subway transit project is showing delays for approximately 10 months and local business owners are not happy. The transit project is having a central subway going from San Francisco Chinatown to Union Square, and connecting with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and metro muni systems. The project digging underground going into northern areas along with delays because of construction scheduling dispute with contractors. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) administration is optimistic about therein situational delays. "There is no budget impacts and looking at timing delays," said Paul Rose, SFMTA Spokesperson. The contractors are hoping to resolve their disputing differences on scheduling and get the subway moving forward.
