Uber to Partner with Cincinnati Area PublicTransportation Companies

Uber is planning to make partnership with Cincinnati region transportation agencies. The SF global agency said it will combine with regional and city organizations & governments and transportation services to build the Cincinnati Mobility Lab.

A regional executive for Uber’s Canada and US business, Arathi Mehrotra said, “Uber hopes to build a model for how public and private services can work together.” She also said the company will have a dedicated manager for the mobility lab based in Cincinnati.

Whereas, John Cranley, Cincinnati Mayor said that collaboration with Uber is a great example of looking to the opportunities and the future like private transfer provides. Cranley said, “I think we have to embrace ride share.”

On this, Cincinnati USA Regional chamber officials said, “Uber will help create an employer forum to focus on commuting challenges and other ways to make the region more attractive for employees.”
