The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) ferry services report identifies 94% ridership increase for passengers taking San Francisco Bay Ferry services in the Bay Area. The WETA status report shows ridership increase since 2012 and demand for ferry services along four transporting routes. The WETA visionary strategy is having 44 fleet vessels, 16 ferry terminals, and 12 service routes for passengers in San Francisco Bay Area. A new ferry vessel will join transporting services during the month of May 2018 and two other vessels are available for services in July and December 2019.
