ALAMEDA CTC SCHOOL CONTEST WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay is kicking off their 2021 Annual Golden Sneaker Contest. It's a virtual contest for participating schools throughout Alameda County during the first week of March 1 - 5, 2021 for SR2S (Safe Routes To Schools) program event. The Alameda CTC event coordinating team is encouraging parents, teachers, students, and school administrators to participate. The event continues to support local school communities with safe and active traveling modes to school, and reducing their carbon footprints to save our environment. The contest participating teams will track their active travel modes each day and encouraging students to use various transportation elements.
