ALAMEDA CTC SUNSETS FUND WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay is sunsetting 2000 Measure B funding effective Thursday, March 31, 2022. The Alameda CTC initiative funding allocation was approved by countywide voters, and having available funding to improve transportation in Alameda County. The Alameda CTC services agency administered therein $4.1 billion funding for different transportation projects countywide, and leveraged $1.4 billion for funding projects. The improvement projects include local BART extensions as well as Oakland Airport Connector, Bus Rapid Transit, safety projects for pedestrians, etc. Including projects to avoid local vehicular traffic congestion within local communities and highway improvement projects.
