The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit services in West Bay is offering free rides for students 18 years old and younger. The SFMTA Free Muni for Youth services program has expanded to all youth and younger students regardless of income levels. The transit services agency program doesn't require any proof of payment, and no longer requires families and/or households to submit an income application. Including participants for therein Free Muni for Youth services program will no longer need their Clipper Cards with the pass. However, 16 years old youth and above are encouraged to carry their student ID Cards and/or California ID Card. The SFMTA Free Muni for Youth services program can apply to muni vehicles except Cable Cars, and program participants can use their Clipper Card with a pass on Cable Cars - visit www.sfmta.com for more information and/or services program updates.
