VTA TRANSIT SIGNALS PRIORITY WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency in South Bay is prioritizing their transit signals on Monterey Road. The VTA project to get priority for transit buses on Monterey Road will help with more efficient and reliable services. The City of San Jose council members approved therein project with an award contract to LYT company, and will install software and/or hardware tools to make it happen. The VTA project contractor will use thereby intelligent traffic solutions with technology tools, and helping transit traffic signals on Monterey Road. To priority VTA transit buses on Monterey Road aligned with traffic signals, and making transit more reliable with faster services for passengers. The VTA project will use technology sensors to detect transit buses on Monterey Road, and change traffic lights for faster transit services in South Bay.
