The City SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is willing to hear input from San Francisco residents and working class people, due to tech shuttle issues considering muni stops, environmental impact, displacement of employers and renters, landlords raising rents, etc. There will always be two sides to anything and blaming tech shuttles for displacing residents and employers, including higher rents, and many other elements of hardship in the city for some people. However, other people are supporting tech shuttles and how it's saving the environment, including less traffic on freeways and positive financial support for San Francisco.
Other people who are not supporting tech shuttles and looking who blame something will always be the case, because San Francisco is a "sanctuary city" with many different ways of living with many ways of thinking. San Francisco is a very diverse city with many different cultures, food, arts, etc. including liberal ways of getting things done. Needless to say, SFMTA is having a public hearing on tech shuttles to hear from people, and moving forward with a plan in August and not July as initially planned. Our international media network spoke with some people at the public hearing; one San Francisco resident said, "I support tech shuttles in San Francisco as long as they pay the bill and my family feels the same way.
