SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - UC EDUCATION SYSTEM CONSIDERING TO BAN USAGE OF UBER, LYFT, AND TNC CARS

The University of California transportation system is essentially a critical part for students, faculty, and all employees of the UC educational system. It should be able to provide more "safe and healthy environmental vehicles" for students and all employee levels of the UC educational system, and ensuring all regulated elements are considered in policies and regulations, protecting students and all UC employee levels when traveling for business or educational endeavors. Legally considering to protect students and all UC employees is not going against innovators and entrepreneurs, and Administrative Counsel working with the Office of UC President shared concerns about students and UC employees traveling in unregulated vehicles operating on a commercial level.

Our international media network spoke with local UC students and employees in San Francisco for their input, and sharing how they feel about traveling in unregulated Uber, Lyft, and other TNC cars considering passengers safety and liability issues. "We hope they have regulated policies to protect us from liability issues, and also protecting students and employees from criminal drivers that we don't know about their background," said some students and employees. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
