SCMTD SERVICE CHANGES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SCMTD (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is changing their schedules to help commuting passengers in the Bay Area. The SCMTD/METRO agency will operate with thereby new service schedules effective Thursday, March 16, 2023. The transit agency service schedules during the Spring 2023 will have reinstated routes, and modified routes to serve local commuting students. The METRO new schedules with some routing services will have changes during weekday and/or weekend services. The METRO transit agency new schedules will affect Highway 17 Express services on weekdays. The local seniors and/or ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) passengers can be eligible with fare discounts, and must show identification for verification to the driver.
