The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) train services agency receives $3 million for two segments pathway improvement project in North Bay. The SMART agency successfully received therein project funding from MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) through the OBAG (One Bay Area Grants) funds. The identified funding grant will provide an opportunity for two segments of therein bicycle and pedestrian pathways. The SMART improvement project will help passengers make better connections with the train services in North Bay. The train passengers can safely ride their bicycles along thereby pathways as well as pedestrians, and physically exercising at the same time. The two segments pathway is Hanna Ranch Road to South Rowland Avenue in Novato, and San Miguel Avenue to Airport Boulevard in Santa Rosa.
