SFMTA CELEBRATES POLICY WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit agency in West Bay celebrates 50 years of Transit-First Policy in the Bay Area. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors ratified therein Transit-First Policy to reshape the municipal transportation system. The identified policy is to help guide the municipal infrastructure for thereby needs, and reducing local automobiles traffic congestion. The SFMTA transit agency works closely with SF Department of Public Works to have therein Red Transit Lanes in place accordingly. It's the Red Carpet approach for commuting passengers and to safely transporting them for their local destination. The SFMTA Red Transit Lanes are becoming popular nationwide, and helping to keep local transit buses out of traffic.
