SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA - MTC EXTENDS CLIPPER START CARD

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is extending therein Clipper START pilot program to Monday, June 30, 2025. The MTC agency extension of thereby Clipper START pilot program provides Bay Area passengers with discounts on public transit services. The public transit 20% and 50% discounts will help local traveling passengers on trains and/or buses within the Bay Area. The MTC pilot program is reaching out to local communities and to take advantage of thereby public transit discounts. The Clipper START program can provide passengers with easier ways to travel in the Bay Area on public transit. The MTC personnel is researching ways to reach out more with target populations and who may qualify for therein Clipper START pilot program. The data shows more traveling passengers are using the Clipper START program, and MTC will evaluate therein program with improvement - visit www.mtc.ca.gov for more information and/or program updates.
