The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) is offering a statewide naming contest for thereby snowplow equipment during wintertime. The Caltrans agency is partnering with OTS (Office of Traffic Safety) to give therein opportunity to students and exhibiting their creative artistic abilities. The Caltrans and OTS partnership will give the contest winners gift cards with identified amounts, and winning names will go on the new snowplowing equipment. The contestant winners will be selected from 11 Caltrans Districts statewide, and one winner will become the all-time grand prize winner. The partnering agencies Snowplow Naming Contest will end on Thursday, February 15, 2024 and the final winner will be announced on Monday, March 4, 2024. The Caltrans/OTS partnership is encouraging students in the Bay Area, and statewide to participate and showing their artistic abilities with creative skills - visit www.dot.ca.gov for more information and/or contest rules update.
