HIGH TECH APP FOR VISUALLY DISABLED PEOPLE AT SFO

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) introduces a high tech app for legally blind and visually disabled people traveling into the airport, and helping them have some guidance with verbal commands through this app as a useful tool. This indoo.rs app is part of San Francisco mayor's office Entrepreneurs In Residence Program helping new start-up enterprises in San Francisco, collaborating city departments and start-up companies in the private-sector business setting. San Francisco mayor's office provided a presentation of the app at SFO with demonstrated efforts on how the app works accordingly, and received many positive responses after the demonstration, on how it can actually impact the life of a visually impaired person.

"We encourage innovation within the government," said Jay Nath, Mayor's Office of Civic Innovation. The app is still in testing stages and not sure how start-up projects will profit, from the products working within the city during development levels for final products.
