SOLTRANS ZERO-EMISSIONS UPDATE IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay is progressively moving forward to environmental sustainability in the Bay Area. The transit agency is transitioning into 100% zero-emissions approach with their fleet since groundbreaking during April 2023. The SolTrans agency has been upgrading thereby infrastructure and expanding it's fleet with electric vehicles. Including the receivership of $12.5 million grant funding from FTA (Federal Transit Agency) to support thereby transit services infrastructure. The federal grant funding is an investment for SolTrans ability to have zero-emissions fleet in the near future. The SolTrans infrastructure project is moving forward accordingly with essential elements in place before therein final inspection.
