NVTA LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The NVTA (Napa Valley Transportation Authority) services agency in North Bay is close to complete their local improvement project in the Bay Area. The NVTA transportation planning agency is finalizing some construction fixtures for their Soscol Junction Project. The identified local improvement project is for three years, and scheduling to finish by later part of 2024 summertime. The NVTA project costing amount is $54 million and partly funded by therein state funding aligned with SB1 (Senate Bill 1) legislation. The project is replacing intersection signals on SR 12/29 (State Route 12/29) and SR221 (State Route 221) as well as Soscol Ferry Road. Including two roundabouts configuration and with an interchange overpass, and improving local traffic flow for traveling vehicles.
