The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) state services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is continually working to improve thereby statewide transportation system. The Caltrans agency works closely with CTC (California Transportation Commission) for funding support, and CTC approves more than $2 billion to manage and/or maintain improvement transportation statewide projects. The identified transportation funding allocation by CTC includes state and federal funding support for therein statewide transportation system. The CTC funding allocation is a statewide investment to help Caltrans with improvement projects for the new generation, and empowering thereby transportation system with elements to enhance statewide projects.
