The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is retiring paper tickets to ride trains in the Bay Area. The BART agency is hosting a fashion show on Saturday, September 14, 2024 between 1 PM to 3 PM and retiring legendary paper tickets for train services. Including a celebration for September 2024 Transit Month at BART service locations in the Bay Area, and BART personnel is encouraging local passengers to ride and enter the ride contest raffle. The BART retiring paper tickets were given to local school students and to provide a fashion design display, and students will share their designs during a Project Doneway: A Farewell To Paper Tickets public fashion show. The farewell to paper tickets fashion show will happen at Rockridge BART Station, and students will display their artistic fashionable designs for the public to appreciate - visit www.bart.gov for more information and/or fashion show updates.
