SMART TRAIN SERVICE CLOSURE WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SMART (Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit) train services in North Bay will be out of service effective Saturday, December 14, 2024 and Sunday, December 15, 2024. The SMART train agency will not have transporting services during therein timeframe for testing, and preparation for the new Petaluma North Train Station. The railway system at SMART agency will be completely out of service, and allowing ample time for thereby train System Testing performance. The passengers traveling to San Francisco from Sonoma and/or Marin counties can use Golden Gate Transit buses, and using other alternate transportation during therein temporary closure. The testing team for therein SMART railway system will sound-off train horns and bell-ringing temporarily.
