PERSON HIT BY GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT BUS IN SAN FRANCISCO

Earlier this morning a person jogging down the street in San Francisco was hit by a Golden Gate Transit bus, and transported to San Francisco General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The incident was reported around 6:17 AM Thursday morning and police department is undergoing an investigation, and Golden Gate Transit agency is doing their own investigation as well. Passengers on the transit bus were not injured and were shaken by the accident occurrence, and transit agency is fully cooperating with police department's investigation. The transit bus was turning from Lombard Street onto Van Ness Avenue and hit the 51 year old jogging lady.
