The BART transportation system in San Francisco Bay Area is planning a feasible study session for another transportation tube like the current BART system. A planning initiative has been provided for San Francisco County Transportation Authority as a proposal for the board awareness. The transbay tunnel experimental study phase is due to high level of ridership on BART and raising awareness of ways to save our environment. The transbay initiative plan will operate from San Francisco Richmond District to go across the bay tunnel within several undetermined locations.
