The Hawaiian Airlines flight 47 was returned back to Oakland Airport after departure this morning due to undisclosed aircraft maintenance issues onboard. The airlines flight had 229 passengers plus crew members with luggage and other elements onboard, departing from Oakland Airport to Honolulu around 9:30 AM Pacific Time. The flight was safely redirected back to Oakland Airport by the pilot because of fuel consumption levels over the Pacific Ocean. Hawaiian Airlines officials contacted appropriate administrators in San Jose International Airport and will have another aircraft ready for 229 passengers flying to Honolulu.
