A Bike Share program was launched August 2013 encouraging people to ride a bicycle to work and/or school to help save our environment and making it healthy for people. MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) has been support of such effort and contributed financial support, and Bay Area Bicycle Coalition advocated for bike lanes in San Francisco and some geographical areas within San Francisco Bay Area. The pilot project started in San Francisco with some local cities along the bay area Peninsula, and people started seeing green bike lanes and bicycle stations for people to ride a bike. The MTC report indicates some local cities have low bicycle ridership and Bike Share program is pending to extend within the eastern part of San Francisco Bay Area. The local cities will have to pay for bike stations if they want to continue the program within their city, and they will be charged with Bike Share program services.
"Bicycle usage in Mountain View, Palo Alto, and Redwood City during the program launching period is not greater than expected," said Steve Heminger, MTC Executive Director. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
