The Stanford University students will unveil it's model of a solar power car this evening preparing for the race across Australian Outback. The unveiling event will be at the Volkswagen Automotive Innovation Laboratory on Oak Road at Stanford University geographical jurisdiction area. The solar power car is named Arctan and can run up to 50 mph using solar power only, and weighs 400 pounds lighter than a regular vehicle using emission fuel or diesel. The solar power car race in Australia is called Bridgestone World Solar Challenge with 47 competitive teams from different countries. U.S Environmental Protection Agency is always seeking ways to protect our natural environment aligning their support for environmental solar power energy.
