Because of delays from state and federal funding for local regional transportation projects in San Francisco Bay Area, City of Palo Alto is leading local cities to join advocacy efforts for transportation improvement projects. Palo Alto is within northern Santa Clara County jurisdictions, and city leaders will engage public interest into another tax measure for transportation projects. A discussion for city transit projects will be part of the council meeting on Monday, and a report will be provided for Santa Clara County VTA (Valley Transportation Authority). San Francisco Bay Area BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) has secured funding for extending services to San Jose, and limiting funding for northern Santa Clara County roadways and transit improvement projects. Palo Alto residents feel funding should be increased for northern Santa Clara County local cities, this time around for local roadway upgrades and transit improvements to ease traffic congestion.
"We want to be careful about looking at identified targets by VTA to ensure needs for northern county is taken into strong consideration," said Honorable Greg Schmid, Vice Mayor, City of Palo Alto. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
