The public transportation fares for some transit services in San Francisco Bay Area is increasing effective next year. This includes San Francisco BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services fare increase beginning Friday, January 1, 2016 affecting the whole system. The BART 3.4 percent increase was approved by the board and it equates to 10-15 cents fare increase for passengers. These fare increases will be in place during every even calendar year until 2020 as part of the stipulated agreement by the BART Board. The BART fare increase will help with financial support for projects to improve services within local neighborhood areas. Some of BART improvement service projects include new rail cars, new control system, and maintenance facility in Hayward, California.
"That 10-15 cents increase may not be much now for passengers, and we need to work on enforcement to ensure passengers are safe and healthy riding BART. Because some people keep smoking at BART stations and harming the health and well being of other passengers," said Jon Goldberg, local BART commuter in Alameda County. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
