CALTRAIN SAFETY SYSTEM DELAYED IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Safety and health issues within transit systems in San Francisco Bay Area has been on top of the list for attention. Caltrain transportation system has been trying to have their safety issues of concern resolved, and didn't reach their installation goals as planned in 2015. Caltrain was planning to install a safety system called PTC (Positive Train Control) for transporting trains to make it safer for passengers. The PTC safety system will operate automatically if the train engineering operator goes over the speed limit, and sends a signal to slow the train from any dangerous situation. The U.S. Congress ratified a legislative bill to have a PTC safety system applied on railroads regarding transporting trains as a safety requirement. Caltrain wants to comply with therein federal legislation and make it safer for traveling passengers.

"95% of the safety system installation is completed and moving into a testing phase, and it should be fully completed sometime in 2016," said Tasha Bartholomew, Caltrain Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
