The latest transportation annual report released indicates worst roads for traveling within San Francisco Bay Area. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) released it's annual report covering 9 San Francisco Bay Area counties regarding road pavement conditions. The ranking categories are based on Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for road conditions within 9 counties. The 3 major cities within San Francisco Bay Area ranks "fair" roads category for San Francisco (67) and San Jose (62), and Oakland (57) ranks "at-risk" category. The MTC report PCI ranking category identified cities of Larkspur (39) and Petaluma (46) to have "poor and worst" road conditions within San Francisco Bay Area.
