DECLINING RIDERS FOR UBER & LYFT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area is getting worse and Uber along with Lyft drivers are caught within the same issue. More than half percent of San Francisco residents don't rely on Uber and/or Lyft for transportation, and 7% of local residents only use Uber and Lyft several times within a month. The study survey by San Francisco Controller's Office indicates local residents using Uber or Lyft for transportation is within the Marina District. It also shows 30% of Uber and/or Lyft drivers are female, and passengers are younger generations using public transportation.
