The power outage for Delta Airlines computer system has created problems for travelers within San Francisco Bay Area major airports. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) grounded 4 departing flights this morning and to ensure the system is operating appropriately for flight planning clearance. Other Delta flights were delayed and/or cancelled at Oakland International Airport (OAK) and San Jose International Airport (SJC). Delta officials are warning travelers about inaccurate flight information on its website and mobile phone app for preparation. The computer system outage will impact flights this Monday morning throughout the afternoon, and Delta is offering flight waivers for impacted travelers.
