The iconic bridge will be closed overnight for thereby Suicide Deterrent System construction, and effective Monday, May 6, 2024 at 9 PM until Saturday, May 11, 2024 morning at 7 AM. The Golden Gate Transit services will operate regularly on schedules between 5 AM and 9 PM Monday to Friday, and closed for overnight construction between 9 PM and 5 AM Monday to Friday. The Golden Gate Bridge will be narrowed with one southbound lane, and two northbound lanes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Including one narrow northbound lane and two southbound lanes on Tuesday and Thursday, and all lanes will be open for regular traffic thereafter daily overnight closures within the identified timeframe - visit www.goldengate.org for more information and/or overnight closures update.
