Public hearings for AC transit services improvement have been in place from last month throughout the month of March 2015. After AC Transit hearings from the public experience and feedback on transit services, transit services will make changes for improvement starting Sunday, March 15, 2015. The changes in transit services is to make it accessible for people during weekend activities, either shopping, going to the park, movies, and other places. The transit line 72R will operate on Saturdays and Sundays as well as weekdays to help people traveling from Richmond to Oakland. Transit Line 31 will extend weekend services to Alameda Points including other parts of sightseeing landmarks in the east bay for people to enjoy.
