AC TRANSIT VIRTUAL MEETING WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is hosting a redistricting virtual meeting for service locations districtwide. The AC Transit is reminding therein public passengers feedback and last virtual meeting is Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 6:30 PM. The transit agency is outreaching to local service communities regarding therein redistricting boundaries, and it's aligned with state and federal regulations based on census data. The transit service boundaries will be redrawn within thereby district service areas based on new census data, and required during every 10 years in the procedural process. The redistricting approach will include local community populations with their families and residential needs as well as income, housing, education, health, cultural, etc. The transit district authorities will consider public comments regarding therein redistricting process - visit www.actransit.org for more information and/or redistricting updates.
